Vision

The Champion By Design Institute (CBDI) is an organization founded in 2001 for the purpose of furthering the achievement of excellence in all walks of life. The Institute’s vision is to bridge the gap between a passionate person's dreams of outstanding excellence and their ability to convert those dreams into reality; and in the process creating contributing assets to society.

CBDI began as a dream of an inner-city San Diego, California youth, who, through the mentorship and support of his high school wrestling coach, was able to rise above limited horizons to become an Olympic contender in his sport. In 2002, property for the first CBDI mini-training center was strategically acquired in Colorado Springs, Colorado to begin to formalize the principles of the Institute and demonstrate the process of intentionally creating life champions by design.

The Institute is currently sponsoring a select group of men and women pursuing outstanding measurable excellence in their lives. These sponsorships are based on the Institute's cutting edge 21st Century psychological models for peak performance.

This is an important step toward developing programs that offer success training for life.
